I've not seen Horde mentioned yet ... I've been using Horde+IMP for
friends and family since 2003 and it's proven to be usable for most of
them. My wife, a Mac devotee, doesn't think the interface is nice
enough. I told her she's just spoiled... :) The IMP webmail client
does just about everything anyone's asked about, at least so far.
I also tried roundcube and thought the speed of it was great, though it
still needed some enhancements to do what a lot of folks wanted.
