Hi all,
I had a CDROM issue a couple of weeks ago and received help
"above and beyond" from the list - thanks. Ended up replacing
the CDROM ($16 for item, $78 for FedEx...).
Anyway, I've now installed Xubuntu on the oul laptop and am
impressed with the look and feel and the bits that I've fiddled
with so far.
What I wish to do now is get mobile broadband. I would like to
know what's the best thing for Linux/Ubuntu? What I want is
the "Modem install guide for the slightly challenged" and the
modem/service that works best with it.
Any references, URL's, suggestions, help &c. appreciated.
Rgs & TIA.
Paul...
