I got an Akasa usb enclosure in PC World in Blanch about 5 months ago,
takes IDE and SATA, also has eSata connection.
Good little box, on all day everyday, only off at night, heats up a bit
and no ventilation.
only reason I got it was the fact that I had a 200Gb ide laying about,
since replaced the 2 160Gb sata's in the PC with 500's but havent gotten
round to replacing the ide disc with one of the 160's.
Also the price was wrong, got it for about €45, should've been over €50.
It'll be retired shortly as I'm on the lookout for a
cheap/reliable/quiet nas box that'll support standalone downloading,
probably a Buffalo LinkStation.
