[ILUG] OpenStreetMap - putting Drogheda on the map, next weekend

Hi all,

We (OpenStreetMap) are holding a mapping party in Drogheda next weekend,
Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of August, 10am-6pm both days.

Mapping parties are great for putting places on the map that aren't
there already, breaking new ground; they're also great for getting new
people involved in OpenStreetMap, and they're a fun way to contribute to
an open source / open data project. There will be plenty of spare GPS
units available (on loan from OpenStreetMap UK), and all are welcome to
drop by at any time and stay as long as they want.

We will be operating out of St Peter's Parish Hall in Drogheda:
http://drogheda.armagh.anglican.org/where/ (look for the OSM banner!)

St Peter's Parish Hall is very central in Drogheda, and gives us
broadband (via wifi and ethernet), a kitchen, somewhere safe to leave
our laptops while we go out mapping, and parking in the church grounds -
everything we need, in other words. Many thanks to the Rev. Michael
Graham for graciously allowing us the use of these facilities.

Looking forward to seeing some of you there!

Christian
