I was surprised to receive the following letter from this magazine
after I questioned why they were sending me
(under the title "Linux Magazine")
a Blackberry promotion which as far as I could see
did not have a single mention of Linux.
90% of the articles seemed to assume the reader was running Windows,
while the remainder were aimed at Mac users.

Hi Timothy,
You were subscribed to the webinar list and RIM is interested in
reaching Linux developers in order to expand the number of people
developing for its platform.
When it comes to software development we cover a lot of topics that
don't have a direct dependency to Linux. PHP, Perl, C++, all of these
will run on a number of different platforms. So I don't think it's too
far off the mark for us to be promoting a BlackBerry webinar.
Thanks,
-Bryan
