	   Hi,

	Thanks to all the speakers and attendees who made today's meeting an
enjoyable, and informative event. Unfortunately, due to a number of the
committee being unable to attend at short notice, the quorum for an AGM
was not reached. This meant we could not continue with the normal
business of the AGM or elect a new committee for 2009.

	The committee have now had the opportunity to discuss this turn of
events and have suggested that we hold an EGM in the new year. I see
this as an excuse to have some more excellent talks, and another
get-together of ILUG members from all over Ireland. I will, of course,
keep the list informed as we confirm a date and details for this.

	Best regards,
	-->Gar
