Hi,
anyone had problems with www.itsyourmoney.ie on Linux? I've got a CentOS
desktop install which, bizarrely, will not load and display that one
single website. Neither Firefox 1.5.latest nor the KDE browser will
display it : they connect to the site, download a small fraction of the
outer menu bars and then stall, reporting failure after a few minutes.
The same machine will load *any* other site properly, including
javascript, flash, etc. There are no network problems, all network
services work, and using the underlying IP address instead of the
hostname has exactly the same problem. I can telnet from the Linux box
to the domain's host:80 and request /, and I get the initial page stub
without problems. On a windows machine using the IP address correctly
displays the www.itsyourmoney.ie site, but with the IP address
maintained in the URL in place of the domain, so it should work
correctly as a request from the Linux browser also.
It's a Magnet 1MB broadband connect, but they're not doing anything
funny, as I have a Magnet connection on the exact same exchange and mine
works fine.
Any thoughts?
Vin
