It does seem a bit high, but they'll charge what people will pay.
FWIW, www.toysrus.co.uk claims they (the 4G version) are GBP 220, but
since they don't have them in stock, it doesn't really matter what
they claim. Dixons Heathrow claimed a High Street price of GBP 250 --
at a current exchange rate of "add a third", that's still a touch
lower than EUR 499. Obviously shipping and handling and local taxes
will each add a chunk.
