A few people have asked me to follow up with what help is needed. So here
goes ...
- People - we need people to be there to run things, answer questions
etc. The conference will run from 9-5 on the Friday and from 9-1 on the
Saturday. So if you can cover the 2 days or just a few hours on one day it
would be a big help. Lunch will be provided onsite by CESI
- Hardware - I'll organise the server, switch and cat 5 cabling. Frank
has a couple of thin clients we can use. So we need some thin clients,
monitors, keyboards, mice + associated power cables.
- Software - It would be nice to have plenty of Edubuntu CDs to give
away. I have 20 proper ones from Canonical that we will probably distribute
at Gavin's presentation but if people could create multiple copies of
version 7.10 that we could distribute, that would be useful.
If you spot something I've missed let me know.
