I would not rely on hdparm tests, they are not valid. They dont take into
account disk cache etc. Never mind controller cache if applicable.
Do some real world tests locally, forget about network tests until you are
sure the local subsystem is writing at full speed.
I would do cp / dd tests and see what you get. If good, then look at network
tests.
What is the perf to the other arrays? You could do an easy network benchmark
by sharing one folder, if more than the 1TB array, then the problem is in
the array non?
