However, let's not forget that it looks like the original user was
having trouble with telnet and, what looked to me like Kerberos
authentication.
I know at least one ILUG member for whom that's the remote access method
of choice ... I wonder is he likely to respond to this thread (possibly
requiring all and sundry to cc him directly !)
