The world needs to revert to the one true democracy once more, that of
Cleistenes in Ancient Athens. "Cleisthenes also instituted a council

ensured that no individual, however wealthy or powerful, could
improperly influence its decisions."
Wouldn't that be nice, no lobbying, no electioneering, no corruption
(well less corruption), and we all have an equal chance of fixing the
country. If you get someone incompetent, well, then its just like we
have it now.
