  | English, Polish, Chinese then Irish is the order of % spoken now.
  | I've seen Offical documents in Chinese, Irish and Polish.

agreed. however, there is a difference of sorts.
the site(s) I'm complaining about have, and are
intended to have, an world-wide cliental; for the
OP's site, located in Ireland, the visitors are
(apparently) also expected to be in Ireland (or
at least interested in Ireland blah blah ....).
as such, English-only would be understandable.

but a site, not necessary located in France,
which wants to (and does) attract visitors from
 many countries/languages/cultures, asserting
“in France” means “MUST use French” is very
 very fscking stupid.

it's a fuzzy line. I brought up the example not
only because it's very annoying (at least to me),
but also as an example where interferences are
made from the geolocation which simply are not
valid — and which anyone who can think should
realise isn't valid. the arseholes who “designed”
those sites seem unable to think.

cheers!
