Another option is to fly to Schiphol, and it's only a 2 hour - but very
comfortable - train journey, right into Brussells.
I commuted to FOSDEM last year from Den Haag, and it was fine, but then
I like trains. There are a lot more flight options to Schiphol, so it
may be worth considering.
