It really is time we had some more talks, and inspired by a question
asked just now on #linux, I'm going to request one. Do we have a gimp
expert who'd be willing to give a talk on gimp usage? It's a very
powerful tool but like its proprietary inspiration, Photoshop, it is
not exactly easy to use. It's a bit of a Hole Hawg* really.
Any volunteers to talk about the gimp? Any other specific subjects in
which people might be interested? (And if somebody requests a talk,
and you're willing to give it, please jump right in and volunteer).
Talk subjects requested should be generally Linux related, and
volunteers should hopefully know the subject, and have some facility
for explaining it.
