Well I understood the OS installed on my WRT54GL was some flavour
of vxworks? It was pants anyway and the web interface only worked
on IE correctly. Well it didn't work with firefox at least.
I think the only difference between the WRT54G and WRT54GL is that
the latter had more RAM specifically to support dd-wrt etc. al.

Also I wanted dd-wrt to setup WDS to share a DSL connection between houses:
