[ILUG] [OT] Searchable document archive

[ILUG] [OT] Searchable document archive

CESI (Computer Education Society of Ireland) are looking for a way to
provide an online searchable archive of papers written by folk doing
research on the use/integration of ICT in education in schools in Ireland.
Most research done in this area ends up in dead tree format on a university
library shelf never to see the light of day.

We want something where the person managing it would have a page where they
could upload a document which would then make it available to all in a
searchable online database as a section on the CESI website.

I googled around but didn't find anything that seemed appropriate. The
projects I saw on sourceforge etc. seem to have had little development in
recent years which didn't inspire confidence. Anyone using something they
can recommend - open source preferably?

Thanks

jh
