[ILUG] problem with network interface

Yeah, it's an onboard Broadcom 4400 network card
and the RAM is running in dual channel mode. But
it has been running with 2gigs of RAM without any
problem for the past couple of years. Tho' I'll check
the version of the driver that's installed.

Nick: When I boot the machine with only the new RAM, the
same problem arises.
