Hi All,
An update on the demo tables at the IOTC. John Hegarty has sorted the ltsp
setup with a server and 4 thin clients. I've got a loan of a server to run
virtual machines from thanks to one of my clients. That server will run VMs
of Asterisk (trixbox) and MythTV (mythbuntu).
I'll bring in cabling and network equipment to tie it all together so
volunteers can just bring themselves. If you have anything else you think
might be useful let me know and put it into the mix.
I still have openings for volunteers who are happy to give their time in
return for free passes. Knowledge of Asterisk and MythTV a definite
advantage!
Not sure exactly yet how I can show off the apps to their best advantages
but for starters I'll set up a free phone booth using trixbox and some ATs.
There probably won't be a tv signal at the conference but I reckon if I load
the box up with videos and music we can show of the media centre features.
If anyone has any ideas on how to improve on this I'd love to hear it!
Thanks,
Patrick
