Actually that only SEEMED to work, loading the next stage of the
installer, asking gateway settings, timezone.

Fails on reading packages.

Trying
http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/fedora/linux/releases/9/Fedora/i386/os/

Says "unable to read package metadata from repository"

A more creative google found
http://fathippo.net/2006/11/07/fedora-network-internet-install-how-to/
Quote
"I used: *fedora.lsu.edu* (no “http://”) for the server and
“*dist/linux/core/6/i386/os/*” (note there’s no leading slash but there
is a trailing slash, and don’t type the quotes–duh) for the source path.ÂÂ"

it does want the http:// or else ftp://

http://*dist/linux/core/9/i386/os/

works :)

Sorry for bothering the list.
