Completed Internet install for Fedora 8
but after linux decompresses at HDD boot
Unable to access resume device (/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01)
mount: could not find filesystem '/dev/root'
I tried CD recovery boot
It "found" the Linux install and suggested I needed to chroot
/mnt/sysimage and then exit to reboot
(sounded unlikely and indeed no difference)
maybe at early point of install I should have not picked "delete
everything" and do default scheme?
40G PATA / IDE drive
Dell Dimension 4550 with 512M RAM
Any ideas folks?
