Evening, I have solved all these issues,
> the sound works but optical (s/pdif). Tried it with a kernel 2.6.24
This was related to a faulty optical cable. I guess we have learned
today that light doesn't mean signal...
>Second issue is USB storage, cannot connect any USB key/hardrive.
Drastic fix was to disconnect USB cable from front case, now it works
as expected. I believe ACPI is at fault here... Let's wait for next
BIOS...
