Even more OT.
I read the following on the Thinkpad mailing list,
from a frequent poster with strong views on everything (RayBay):
------------------------------------------------------------
The KDS and the Envision are the two most failure-prone LCD
monitors made.

Get them a Samsung, Sharp, Phillips, Sony, Dell, HP or LG and never again
worry... but before you do, look at the specs for maximum resolution... and
at the warranty which must be 3 years or preferable 5 years.

You gets what you pays for in LCD monitors... but not if you buy a
ViewSonic, Envision, Sceptre, KDS, Hanns, Acer, Westinghouse, Hannspree,
I-Inc, Planar, Sylvania, or Hyundai
