That's just my problem - the system just *_won't_*
boot from CD - have tried with multiple bootable
CD's (which work on other machines) but no joy.

That's just what my email was about. One of the sites
below gives one that would appear to work with
the machine I have, but it's a bootable (floppy -
which
I can't do either) one, and the other doesn't appear
to be for my machine.

What I want is some sort of programme that will
execute from XP that will nuke the entire disk
in the hope that the MBR will be reset and that
it will restart using the devices set in the
boot sequence of the BIOS - i.e. CD first.

It doesn't have a floppy and it won't boot from a
USB key.

Any help with such a programme appreciated, otherwise
I shall have to send my machine to the dump, and it's
still serviceable and with the current economic
climate
(I've just had to sell off my Porsche and remortgage
my three villas in Tuscany) the old cash is a bit
tight!
