If you take a look at sound sources on an analyser such as baudline
http://www.baudline.com/
you will find that just about any nose source you care to examine is far
from random.
Intra-station FM broadcast noise would be better than the other sources
suggested but even then the audio response of a crappy soundcard is far
from unbiased. Take a look at the output of the card with no source
connected to see what other self generated noises lurk in there
