Hi all,
I just did my first online update in Yast on my Opensuse 10.3 laptop. As it was the first time I'd done one since installing a few months ago, there was a long list of recommended and security updates. Having installed all of those, I rebooted. The desktop came up as per usual, but the cursor doesn't respond to the touchpad. I haven't figured out shortcut keys to the panel yet, so haven't been able to check if it's just the touchpad or if the system has frozen.
It has rebooted in safe mode, but as I didn't take note of which updates were to be installed and didn't even watch as they were being installed, I've no idea which updates to roll back. I don't know how to do that on the command line even if I did. I came across some commands on opensuse.org for software management, but my system doesn't seem to have the rug command which shows checkpoints, etc.
Hope someone out there can help! I really need this machine next week. Typical!
Thanks
Jen
