[ILUG] Opensuse crash following Yast online update

Ok, lot's of WWs because various fonts weren't found. Then

(WW) NVIDIA(0): No valid modes for "1280x768"; removing
(WW) NVIDIA(0): No valid modes for "1280x600"; removing
(WW) NVIDIA(0): No valid modes for "1024x600"; removing
(WW) NVIDIA(0): No valid modes for "768x576"; removing

.....

(II) NVIDIA(0): Virtual screen size determined to be 1280x800

......

 (WW) NVIDIA(0): Option "CalcAlgorithm" is not used

Modify /etc/inittab and boot it text mode (3). See if it works
alright, then go through the previous /var/log/Xorg.0.log and check
for warnings (WW). If you are using a proprietary display driver,
switch to the opensource one to see if it works.
