I ended up giving up on Kubuntu last year with feisty. Features started
breaking after upgrades, especially suspend/resume. I tried mandriva
2008.1 for a while, but it manages to spectacularly break itself when
you apply updates. So now I'm running lenny with kde. It's been working
perfectly reliable for months now, and at 17days uptime on a laptop,
that can't be bad.

I hope Ubuntu isn't getting into bed to closely with Gnome as they seem
to have a habbit of strange additions and removals from their product.

Diarmuid.
