You don't need to reparation to add swap space. you can also create
swap file(s) on your regular file system. These will have somewhat lower
performance than swap partitions but file based swap will be assigned
lower priority to the partition(s) will be used first. My advice would
be if you find that you are using file based swap space extensively then
you might want to make your swap partition bigger at some stage (&
perhaps add more ram) if your file based swap rarely gets used then
leave it alone
