[ILUG] DNS-323

[ILUG] DNS-323

Following on from an earlier comment, I bought a dns-323 expecting to
modify it for my dastardly purposes.

Beware! It's nowhere near as polished as say, tomato (wrt54). There's
nothing too difficult, but it's all so _manual_.

e.g. it's recommended to run extra programs from a usb stick otherwise
the system won't unmount cleanly. But to get going, you need to
manually download several packages from different locations, manually
install kernel modules for usb support among many other manual steps.

Ah well, the newest default firmware isn't so bad. The torrent support
is somewhat clunky but bearable.

Stephen.
