Someone asked me for the best router,
and I suggested the Linksys WRT54GL,
which I use very happily,
having bought it through this mailing list, IIRC.
But I wondered if anything better has come along recently?
I think the person who asked me (a relative)
intends to attach it to an existing ADSL modem.
Can one in fact replace the modem with the router?
