I've got the following sitting in a corner:
NetApp F760 (taken out of service in November)
NetApp F720 (used as spare parts for above)
NetApp F760 motherboard
2 x DS9 disk shelves with 7 x 36GB BCS disks
1 x DS9 disk shelf.
I have a selection of 18 and 36GB ZCS disks around that can be used to
populate the latter disk shelf.
The filer heads include a couple of multi-mode gigabit ethernet cards.
They worked fine until they were retired 6 months ago. I've not tested
them since, other than to scrub the disks a couple of months ago.
If anybody is interested in giving them a good home let me know. They'd
make a good spares pool for anybody still running kit like this, or a good
testbed for anybody using filers. If there's a commercial motive then we
can haggle, otherwise I'll settle for a pint (we can haggle over whether
it's Guinness or Midleton).
They'll need to be collected from Drogheda, or at a push I can deliver
them anywhere along the M1 into Dublin city centre.
Note that software and license keys are *not* included. AFAIK they will
run linux however.
If anybody's looking to start a museum, I've also got a few Ascend
Pipeline routers (1u, 2Mbps WAN port) and an IBM Fibre Channel
Switch (2109 S16 - a rebadged Brocade IIRC).
