I could not possibly flame the flash - it's too hypnotic - sucking me in to click /something/

one thing I /will/ say about the flash is that it's a terrible idea to use flash as links - see your site in Links - 
that's how Google sees it (unless they engineers have been busy and the engine can read flash now).
