Google can now parse and index Flash blobs (I've both been told, and
seen). To what extent exactly, I don't know.
It's obviously impossibly for Google to provide links *into* flash
blobs - there is (AFAIK) no general URI scheme for the contents
inside flash. Sadly, bits of the web keep disappearing every day -
most people don't notice, because watching Youtube is far more
important to them.
(You can use the GNOME 'totem' movie-player's Youtube plugin to
search, browse and watch Youtube, in a far more performant manner
than any of the Flash browser plugins, on any platform, if anyone
cares).
