[ILUG] Run script when USB disk connected

Whats the right magic udev/hal/whatever incantation needed
to get a script to run when an external USB hard disk is 
plugged in?

I want to automatically rsync stuff from a machine to a
removable disk just by plugging it in - no UI, no user
action required.
