[ILUG] OT: openvpn and linksys routers

[ILUG] OT: openvpn and linksys routers

I've got two sets of boxes (ubuntu in some) and I'd like to get a VPN
happy between them. But struggle as I might, they're not willing to see
each other. I don't even see an incoming connection occur.

We're using a pair of Linksys WAG54GS ADSL gateways. I've gone thru the
configuration for openvpn on both ends, and the router setup, but
neither seem to be making it actually happy. Nothing is disabled
anywhere, I've got UDP port 1194 set up on the server router to redirect
to the host running openvpn (and even tried the same on the client side
too, even tho it shouldn't be necessary I don't think).

Are there any funny tricks with openvpn and, in particular, linksys
gateways/routers to getting it to function?

Thanks,
B
