I imagine that the vendor will take it back if you don't have  
coverage, but I'd say the
question of whether they'd be obliged to is moot - 3G coverage clearly  
is in your area,
just not in your house due to very specific local conditions. But I  
imagine that you'd
rather have the service than not, so let us know how you get on with  
satellite dishes,
Roses tins, or aluminium foil covered pizza boxes (apparently the  
reflector of choice in
the Ripwave community).
