Yup, if that is the case, it should be fine to just straight burn
multiple disks at the same time without pre-caching. At that point, I
think that putting up to 44X worth of burning capacity (i.e. two 22X
writers, four 10X writers, etc.) per USB 2.0 controller would work
just fine.
