I have the 610 and got my wife a lower spec because she didn't
need the FM receiver or bluetooth, etc. Her unit, however, takes
much longer than mine to boot up and to locate satellites (It
has taken as long as 5 minutes) which is very inconvenient.

Yes. I have used it around Ireland (North and South), England
and in Italy (Sardinia) and am very pleased with it.
