Subject: [ILUG] Sharing files over the web

I have been asked by a client to consider setting up a website where a
small group around the world can share documents securely. It sounds
more like a job for a secure ftp server than a website but does such a
thing exist in an easy to install and use fashion - I am not looking for
a huge enterprise level document sharing system - something basic and
functional that we can attach to our current server and maybe migrate to
the ISP if appropriate.

What about something like Owl?

http://owl.anytimecomm.com/

It brands itself as an 'Intranet Engine' so I wouldn't be too sure about security over the internet.

Cheers,
Robert
