I have the 02 E220 modem and it's €25 a month with a download limit
of 7.5GB. I think that the modem cost about €35 initally but as I
understand if you loose/break your modem you have to pay over €200
for a new one. If you don't get the new one you will still get charged
for the service untill your contract is up.
Beforehand I had a pay as you go three modem which was €100 initally
and I had to buy credit for it - similar to a mobile phone. I got rid
of that one because it worked only on 3G, where as vodafone works on
3G and GPRS, and 02 works on GPRS, EDGE and 3G.
The edge inbetween stage makes a big difference if you are in a non 3G
area.
