	Hi,

	Just tested on an Ubuntu machine, and I can copy and paste as you describe
using only the mouse to highlight, and middle button to paste. When you say it
completely fails, can you describe what that means, please? Does it paste the
selected contact up to the ' (single-quote)? Does it paste nothing at all?
Does your machine reboot and any milk in your fridge instantly sour? Perhaps
if you let us know what happens we can begin to make educated speculative
comments about what might be going wrong.
