[ILUG] NFSv4

[ILUG] NFSv4

Kevin Philp kevin at cybercolloids.net

We are replacing our network server and its a time to look at the
possibly of changing a few things. One suggestion was that NFSv4 is more
aggressive at caching on the client side and could give us a performance
benefit . We might not even notice this but does anyone have any reasons
why we shouldn't change from nfsv3 to nfsv4 - apart from the
configuration is completely different.

Kevin.
