I encountered this too but in my case it was even more confusing - I  
was searching for information about the installation of non standard  
firmware on a Linkstation, and the sites describing this always use  
words to the effect of "Caution! - this may brick your Linkstation" -  
it looked like google was becoming exceptionally smart.

Indeed, it took me right back to 199x when I first saw a google  
targeted ad and I thought "Oh look - an ad. related to what I was  
searching for - isn't that clever." - little did I know . . .
