That may be useful for something else I'm planning but I think for
this particular project I think it might be cause more problems than
it solved.

My problem with chattr was that I would have to apply it to each
individual file. I realised this evening coming down on the Train to
Galway , that i could do that with inotify.... Ill see where that
brings me.
