[ILUG] Virtual server question

[ILUG] Virtual server question

Having used Xen (briefly) and OpenVz I would say that OpenVz is better
for the setup you describe as

1) Your resources are limited and you will benefit from the speed of
sharing the same kernel.
2) You are obviously running all your services on the same OS now, so
you should be happy enough to keep running everything on the
same/similar OS.

OpenVz is straightforward to use, easy to backup and easy to create new
containers.
When you get a new physical server OpenVz has live migration (which is
very simple to configure).
