Its a longtime sice I used plesk, but here we go...
There is a config file for plesk, called config.php, or possibly
configuration.php. Could you post up that file so we can see it? Obviously
remove any informationwhich may be of a sensitive nature. I have a feeling
there is a line in there which tells plesk where to look for the websites
are stored.
Maybe just looking at the config file yourself will resolve your problem.
