Hey all strange one here,
It seems that after a recent update to Intrepid Ibex my friend's laptop
network devices and sound devices stopped working. I managed to get
networking going again after reinstalling the network manager (wicd) but
there still seems to be duplicate device entries for the same sound card and
no matter which one I choose OR which sound system I choose (alsa or oss) no
sound comes from the front speakers on this Medion MD97900.
I've tried deleting and recompiling drivers manually but to no avail.
Any suggestions?
