I've been using Linux 4 One on mine for the past few weeks - it is basically
the netbook version of Ubuntu with all the hardware supported even down to
the led for wi-fi. Works like a charm.
Kind regards,
Joe Molloy

What distro of Linux instead of pre-installed on Acer Aspire1 SSD=8Gbyte?
Is there any advantage changing from the preinstalled Linux? Linpus?
It's not currently feasible (finance wise) to upgrade the storage. It
seems the model with HDD is a SATA 2.5" drive and larger case, though
you can fit a PATA 1.8" HDD to existing case. Too expensive right now.

>>Hi,
I use debian on my personal one, and the ones in work. I find the UI
better but then the codecs suffer.
