> # rpm -ql VMware-Player
> /var/cache/vmware/VMware-Player-2.5.2-156735.x86_64.bundle
This file is a shell script. It runs, installs the software, and then
removes itself. Not very nice.
> # ls -l /var/cache/vmware/
> total 0
> # ls -l /usr/bin/vmplayer
> ls: /usr/bin/vmplayer: No such file or directory
This is really the part that bugs me: installation fails for an unknown
reason, and rpm doesn't help me figure it out. Have to take it up with
vmware, I guess.
